ServSafe Manager Course Level Two – 7th Edition

An event every week that begins at 4:30pm on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until February 27, 2019
ServeSafe® has become the industry standard in food safety training and provides all employees with accurate and up-to-date information on all aspects of food safety and handling, from receiving and storing food, to food preparing and serving. Food-borne illness is a serious public health threat. According to the Center for Disease Control, each year in the United States 76 million people suffer from vomiting and diarrhea caused by mishandled, tainted, or spoiled food.
Just some of the topics to be covered during this training are:
* Preventing cross-contamination
* Cleaning and sanitizing
* Food safety regulations
* Time and temperature control
* Safe food preparation

Cost: $200 (includes book, certification exam & materials)
The Fostoria Learning Center offers the ServSafe® Manager Certification — 7th Edition training 2-3 times a year which fulfills the Food Certification Level Two requirement (16 contact hours).
