New Entrant Audit (4 Hour)

Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Part 385 requires that the DOT place carriers that have recently applied for a USDOT identification number into the New Entrant Safety Assurance Program and monitor them accordingly. In addition, New Entrant carriers must complete an audit within the first 18 months of operation. You will leave this program confident that you can prepare safety policies and successfully complete your audit.   You will come away with answers to the following and much more. Topics Include: How long am I considered a New Entrant carrier? Are there automatic failures to the audit? What records must I keep? When will the audit take place? What happens if I pass the audit? What happens if I fail the audit? Anyone that is considering obtaining a USDOT number or carriers who are preparing for their New Entrant Audit, and owner operators should attend this workshop.
