This course provides the Student to further develop their skills and knowledge through theory and lab practice in the SMAW process and key variables that affect the quality of welds.  This includes arc welding in the flat and horizontal positions on fillet and groove welds using single pass, and multiple pass welds techniques.  Safety will be emphasized throughout the class and will be accordance with industry standards for manufacturing. (Class – 32 Hours)
