  • Saturday, May 21– 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Seneca Parks District Program: “Old Shoe Garden” – At The Parkette at corner of Main and North Streets. Discussion on planting seeds, what every seed needs and plant some seeds in a container. Ideas for an old shoe garden will be on display. All supplies provided. There is no charge for this event.
  • Saturday, July 16– 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Seneca Parks District Program: “Hummingbirds” – At The Parkette at corner of Main and North Streets. Talk about life cycles, habitats, pollination and migration of these awesome little feathered friends. There is no charge for this event.
  • Saturday, August 20– 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Seneca Parks District Program: “Native Plants” – At The Parkette at corner of Main and North Streets. Discussion on why native plants/flowers are so beneficial, then paint a vase to put your flowers in. All supplies provided. There is no charge for this event.
  • Saturday, September 17– 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. – Seneca Parks District Program: “Magnificent Monarchs” – At The Parkette at corner of Main and North Streets. Talk about monarch butterflies–life cycles, habitats, populations and migration. Caterpillars and chrysalis on site to view. Enjoy a monarch craft. All supplies provided. There is no charge for this event.
