Starting Spring 2019, ABC will offer trade-specific accelerated training programs in both Carpentry Level 1 and Electrical Level 1.

Carpentry Level 1—Topics covered:

— Orientation to the trade

— Building materials, fasteners, and adhesives

— Hand and power tools

— Reading plans and elevation

— Floor systems

— Wall and ceiling framing

Electrical Level 1—Topics covered:

— Electrical safety

— Introduction to National Electrical Code

— Device boxes

— Electrical test equipment

— Conductors and cables

— Introduction to electrical circuits

Class Schedule: Two nights a week (days to be advised)

Class Start: Week of March 18, 2019

Cost: $1,000 ABC Members & unemployed students or $1,425 for students from non-member companies
