This course is for healthcare professionals or anyone who needs to know how to perform CPR, as well as, other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. In the classroom, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations while working with an American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing.

The Heartsaver® First Aid course trains participants in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. This class is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs to know how to perform CPR and First Aid, as well as, other lifesaving skills to meet a job requirement.
